Noel reads the January 1979 issue of The Big Sur Gazette. He took to photos and graphics at two months of age, and print soon after. The first newspaper caption he read was under a Bill Bates cartoon. It said: "Popovers!" (A Carmel joke set at Wishart's Bakery).
