Summer: The Dawn Redwood has darker needles, similar to the Coast Redwood, or Sequoia Sempervirons. |

Fall: The Dawn Redwood needles turn rust colored. The flowering plum leaves turn yellow |
Winter: The deciduous Dawn Redwood is bare, as is the flowering plum. |
