Math Carmel Unified School District adopted Mathland for Grades K through 3.The program is supplemented with Math Advantage, a Harcourt Brace program. Teachers supplement the program with various other materials, as needed. Computers The Kindergarten has two PC computers. Students are able to navigate our school website, identify and name the hardware and software in use in the classroom, and work several types of grade-appropriate programs. Students are encouraged to use good computer posture, to work cooperatively, and show proper care of the equipment.

On the Internet this year, we expect to take part in the backyard bird count, monitoring the birds shown below, and perhaps others. Additionally, we observe the annual migrations of Monarch butterflies, Gray whales, and other species as the opportunity presents.
