Captain Cooper School recently received a grant for $4,000.00 from FOCUS (Friends of Carmel Unified Schools) to purchase an AWS Weather Station. The system connects to others nationwide via the internet. Our weather information will be broadcast periodically on California Central Coast NBC affiliate, KSBW. To celebrate the arrival of the station, kindergarten students submitted the following drawings and stories to KSBWs Weather Watch Kids to be used on Action News 8 Sunrise. Each morning the station broadcasts artwork and stories of local students. Mrs. Paula Walling |
