1993 Alumni
Jonathan McQueen is an engineering major in his senior year at UC Davis. Heather (Pentony) Chappellet is enjoying her first baby, Tahja, now a toddler. Torre (McQueen) Forrest is the proud new mother of baby Grace. Oswaldo Garcia works at Post Ranch Inn, and is the father of a baby girl, Veronica. Scan Shadwell was among the artists who recently displayed and sold work at the Big Sur Grange. Richie Villa manages River Inn's restaurant and is a father. He also devotes time to the Big Sur Volunteer Fire Brigade. He has given fire safety equipment demonstrations at school. John Villa also works at River Inn. Mike Shannon, whose excellent drumming is well known in the area, is a music major at the University of Northern Colorado. John Shannon is majoring in computer systems information at Arizona State University, and considering buying property in Arizona after graduation. Michelle Bleck graduated from Carmel High in June of '92, and now works as a desk clerk for a resorts well as working part time in a book store and for Hallmark. She plans a nursing career. Michael Bleck is a Sophomore at Carmel High in his second year on the wrestling and swim teams. In his spare time, he is learning the satellite TV industry. Noel Walling begins his sophomore year at RLS in the fall. He plans to work as a camp counselor at Pico Blanco for the summer, as well as attending the National Scout Jamboree in Virginia. Danielle Latta won a trip to the US Space Camp and Academy in Huntsville, Alabama for her firstplace project and prizewinning essay in the Monterey County Science Engineering Fair held last March. She leaves the end of this month.
